After studying mechanics, "Clem" joined the Air Force on 19 March 1949 as an aircraft technician. He will work, among others, on Spitfire, Meteor, Hunter, Thunderjet, Thunderflash, and will end up on the Mirage at Bierset with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer. Although retired, he has always kept in touch with the military aviation world and has always been eager to pass on his knowledge. This led our dean to be one of the founding members of the "BA 27 Cockpit Club" that would lead a few years later to the formation of the TEAM BD 09. His sound technical advice and experience are very much appreciated within the Team.
