The Mirage M5 B was developed on the basis of the Mirage III E fighter-interceptor airframe and was transformed into a fighter-bomber. It has simplified avionics, allowing it to carry 32% more fuel than the Mirage III. There will be a total of 106 Mirage M5 B: 63 BA (Attack), 27 BR (Recce) and 16 BD (Dual). Our BD 09 left the SABCA factory on March 25th, 1971 for delivery to the Air Force. It made its last flight on January 13, 1994.
